The South-African shipyard MACC Engineering & Construction and DSH-GmbH signed a new contract for an exclusive agency agreement. The shipyard is active in the ship repair business since 1976 and located in the port of Durban. The services range from voyage repairs – from Namibia to Mozambique – to any type of dry dock works. In Maputo MACC operates a satellite branch to have a closer contact to the customer in this area.
Afloat repairs are done alongside commercial quays or at a repair quay with 413 meters. For dockings there are two docks available: a floating dock with a size of 109m x 23m and a graving dock with a size of 352m x 42m.
